Our retreats are about the craft of storytelling. Each day, one of our mentors will give a craft talk on a topic relevant to any kind of story: character, dialogue, finding your authentic voice, or finding the dramatic question of your story.

We’ll break into small groups of up to four writers to one mentor. Each writer will have focused time on their own project in their group and get feedback from their mentor and fellow writers.

Some of our retreats will be generative experiences. You’ll have time to write and grapple with a new approach or concept, to get a better grasp of your emotional connection to the story and characters.

After each retreat, each writer will get a follow-up on their project with one of the mentors.
